Route into this page

Why this page is here: the shortest known corpus-link route from an Edition 3 source is:

  1. Leech pair-Gram geometry reaches Spin(2,3), but needs an orientation twist and affine theta shift
  2. Corpus crosswalk: what this programme inherits and what it changes

Corpus crosswalk: what this programme inherits and what it changes

Date: 24 October 2026 Purpose: connect the lattice-subroutine question to existing results without making older documents depend on this programme.

The Jordan--Lie middle

The relevant local spine begins with positive two-channel data, not with a spacetime group. The pair-Gram map in claim 1217 places Leech pairs in \(H_2(\mathbb R)_+\). The Jordan triple/TKK construction then gives the real symplectic completion \(Sp(4,\mathbb R)\cong Spin_0(2,3)\).

This programme preserves the corpus's reading:

The lattice contribution sits on the Jordan side first: it supplies integral positive Gram data and exact multiplicities. It reaches the Lie side through genus-two symplectic covariance. It has not supplied dynamics across the middle.

Existing seam results

Corpus resultWhat survives hereWhat remains open
Leech pair-Gram bridge, claim 1217canonical positive \(2\times2\) Gram carrier; determinant strata; \(Sp(4,\mathbb Z)\) degree-two theta dataphysical channel meaning and seam realization
finite genus-two machine seam, claim 1738exact finite characteristic/Lagrangian/direction data and a candidate orientation linemicroscopic control provenance and continuous physical evolution
affine orientation intertwiner, claim 1790one extra orientation bit can carry both sign reversal and affine shift on the augmented carrierinsertion into a physical partition function/action
Rule-60/Golay seam torsor, claim 1793finite provenance for the two-sheeted seam datumwhy nature uses that seam and how it affects an observable

The new genus-two calculation proposed here is therefore not a search for another numerical match. It asks whether these already-derived seam data survive factorization, modular covariance and an operational observable.

Existing dynamics boundary

The finite Spin(2,3) gravity checkpoint established that:

Global path selection v32 then exhausted the remaining finite escape graph. Its reopen rule is exact: supply a new complete action or microscopic vacuum.

The lattice subroutine is admissible new input only if it satisfies that rule. A shared \(Sp(4)\) label, a theta characteristic or a modular plot is not a complete action or vacuum.

Existing quantum and source boundary

The critical quantization packet shows how much data a serious gravitational theory needs: fields, background split, gauge transformations, gauge fermion, ghosts, constraints, measure and counterterms. The lattice programme must eventually produce or consistently couple to this level of specification.

Claim 1587 fixes a second non-negotiable boundary: nongravitational spectra and stable vacua do not determine the absolute gravitating vacuum energy. Any induced-action route must compute the renormalized stress tensor and explain the cosmological term rather than choosing its zero.

Claim 209 provides a useful response warning. A free conformal stress spectrum occupies one ray of the positive Jordan cone. The whole \(H_2(\mathbb R)_+\) cone is an ambient possibility space, not automatically a dynamically explored family. A lattice/CFT construction must show which rays or planes its physical stress responses actually occupy.

Existing lattice and continuum lessons

Claim 1595 gives the correct template for a lattice “subroutine”:

  1. define a Hilbert space and positive transfer operator;
  2. calculate its exact spectrum and sewing law;
  3. state the continuum scaling variable;
  4. expose the precise point at which the toy fails to reach four dimensions.

Claim 1608 adds the empirical lesson: finite-volume and cutoff convergence can be extremely strong evidence while still not proving the continuum measure or a uniform spectral lower bound.

These results prevent the phrase “lattice subroutine” from doing hidden work. A physical lattice model needs a transfer law, locality, scaling and controlled limits; an internal even unimodular lattice does not already provide them.

Existing Monster-computation lesson

Frontier wave 7.28 constructed an exact Monster-order divisor-lattice virtual machine. It is a genuine finite admissibility carrier, but it has no Monster action, VOA, McKay--Thompson trace, Hecke relation or physical dynamics.

That result is directly analogous to the present boundary: an exact finite address/state space does not imply a physical update law, semantic completeness or spacetime dynamics.

Its positive lesson also transfers. Even when an ontological promotion fails, the structure can remain valuable as a classifier, detector design or executable laboratory for quotient loss.

What this programme newly contributes

This bundle adds five things not previously held together in one place:

  1. the exact Golay--Leech--lattice-CFT--Monster--\(J\) state-counting chain;
  2. an explicit separation of modular visualization, probability, Bloch energy and spacetime dynamics;
  3. six exhaustive gravity routes with route-specific blockers and reopen conditions;
  4. a lightning path from discrete carrier to detector record;
  5. near-term calculations capable of closing branches.

It does not revise the status of any older claim. It places a newly proposed interpretation behind the corpus's existing admission gates.

Overall corpus implication

The lattice material is closest to being a state-space and relation compiler. The Jordan--Lie spine is closest to being a space-of-possibilities and transport interface. The gravity programme is closest to being a partially specified dynamical completion with a globally exhausted finite search. Joining the three is possible in form but not yet in construction:

  1. discrete admissible states;
  2. positive relational carrier;
  3. selected dynamical law;
  4. conserved source;
  5. healthy spacetime response;
  6. detector record.

The first two transitions have exact pieces. The remaining transitions are the frontier.
