Frontier gate coverage audit v1

Date: 24 October 2026 Machine authority: gate audit Live queue: open topics

Every admissibility packet from AZ-001 through AZ-057 now has an explicit disposition: live, superseded, or closed. Every live or superseded gate has at least one current topic owner. This prevents old gates being counted twice, partial implementations being mistaken for closure, and narrow experiments disappearing inside broad labels.

The audit found one genuine orphan: AZ-005's oscillator-to-detector AM/FM information benchmark. It is now OT-043. It also covers AZ-041--AZ-057, which postdate the 40-region zone register.

This is not evidence that the physics questions are solved. It certifies only that none of the 57 declared AZ gates is orphaned. AZ-056 closes the abstract descent and defect-composition calculus while routing its physical residuals to OT-019, OT-027, OT-034, OT-038 and OT-045. AZ-057 closes the declared local detector-equivalence family while routing carrier, physical selector, record-efficiency and cost residuals to OT-002--OT-005. The next audit scope is explicit frontier-wave and claim-family gate prose not already reachable from an AZ packet.
