Exact assertion
The signature-(2,3) form used by the rectangular Spin(2,3) closure can now be derived, up to scale, from selector data that predates that closure: a symplectic form and its uniquely compatible positive metric define a complex structure, whose action on primitive two-forms splits five real directions into two and three with opposite wedge-pairing signs. This is a real anti-retrofit advance, but it does not identify those abstract sectors with physical ports. The native positive adjoint still admits two completions: one closes to compact SO(5), the other to noncompact SO(2,3). Worse, the unbroken selector has no invariant map from its two-sector to its three-sector. The remaining experiment and theory target is therefore one independently calibrated common-carrier map that reproduces a selector operation at the ports, treats the observed cross-channel as symmetry breaking, and fixes the noncompact reverse-channel phase.
The claim supplies a map or analogy. It becomes a derivation only after an explicit carrier-preserving map and invariant are given.

Treat the passage as organization or analogy unless a cited carrier-preserving map is supplied.
joins several typed results while letting the weakest edge set the claim.
Provide an explicit map that preserves the claimed structure, then identify an observable consequence that the analogy alone did not supply.
