Status: Organizes thought or workflow but is not evidence for a physical claim. Function: moves a structure between mathematical, physical or ordinary languages.

Practical hope ends in work

Hope becomes scientific when it says where to look and what useful work can return. A projector experiment may improve geometric control; a same-film response pipeline may improve force prediction; a null polarized-force search may tighten effective-field-theory bounds. The ordinary outcome must be worth having before any anomaly appears.

The same work may expose new physics only through a predeclared residual that survives calibration, nuisance models, reversals and competing mechanisms. Unexplained noise is not promoted by desire. The point is a two-outcome design: theoretical or engineering improvement under established physics, and a disciplined discovery route if the established account fails.

Desired endpoints are aims

The programme may desire a theory of joint realizability, a physical carrier dictionary, a derived selector, protected cross-response relations and a detector able to separate shared shape from shared mechanism. These aims orient work without becoming predictions.

Desire does not make an endpoint true, while kenotic caution does not require pretending the programme has no direction. Each desired endpoint must be paired with a closure condition and a result that remains useful if the endpoint is not reached.

Three roles are not three maxima

Security, selfhood and kenosis become less paradoxical when they are typed as different mathematical roles: a viability boundary, an invariant carried through change and an outward flow. They are not three rival scalar objectives. The practical question is which trajectories preserve enough capacity and identity for something real to keep passing outward.

This picture does not solve moral tragedy or derive an ethic from mathematics. It shows where a decision actually crosses a declared boundary, destroys an identity-bearing relation or spends future capacity. Values still choose among admissible paths; the feasible region does not choose its own objective.

Mythic arcs are pictures

Chaos becoming an inhabitable order, a traveller crossing a typed gate, a labyrinth retaining a thread, death opening into renewal and reconciliation without erasure can picture aspects of admission, transport, memory, closure and reopening. They are ways of seeing the human meaning of a pattern, not mechanisms in a physical model.

These pictures are a menu. Remove or substitute them and the scientific claim must remain unchanged. If a theorem or experiment depends on the mythic picture, the picture contains an unstated premise and has exceeded its authority.

Theology under a declared assumption

Assume explicitly that God exists; for the specific kenotic reading also assume that God is unsurpassable in knowledge, power and goodness, that creation is genuinely other and intelligible, and that divine power ordinarily serves rather than needlessly replaces creaturely causation. Under those assumptions, the admissibility story can picture creation as a hospitable lawful region in which distinct beings, causes, histories and records genuinely matter.

An explicitly Christian continuation reads incarnation as entry into creaturely conditions, the cross as non-dominating power sharing their cost, and resurrection as restoration without erasure. This is positive theological analysis from declared premises, not an inference from Jordan/TKK mathematics, an anomaly or a gap in physics; no theological conclusion flows backward as evidence for a scientific claim.

The pinned Claimipedia graph offers one bounded picture of presence without domination. Its principal kenosis node supports three undirected cycle classes and is an articulation, yet the authored arrows flow through it without directed return. Under the chapter's declared theological premises this may picture a load-bearing junction that does not force every relation to circulate around itself. The exact result remains graph topology: the node is present, not a puncture. The natural three-branch cover also has a filled triangular nerve and vanishing constant-coefficient H1, so matching scalar data glue uniquely. The smallest exact reopening template replaces that cover with three distinct pairwise overlaps and transition signs: product +1 permits a global nonzero marker, while product -1 returns it reversed. This is proposed new data, not an extraction; the current graph supplies neither the overlap loop nor its transitions, and no divine referent follows from either construction.
