the two rails share a plane, not a group

ConditionalAuditor

Works after a named field, coefficient, boundary condition or control is supplied. checks assumptions, certificates, counterexamples and stopping rules.

Exact assertion

The scalar \(\sigma\) bridge now closes exactly. Its fixed Leech lattice has Gram matrix \(\left(\begin{smallmatrix}4&1\\1&6\end{smallmatrix}\right)\) and determinant 23, and its normalized theta/eta trace is the common 23A/23B McKay--Thompson series. The quadratic-residue and nonresidue rails have Gaussian periods in \(\mathbb Q(\sqrt{-23})\), and reduction on the two Golay factors contracts them to the conjugate ideals \(\left(2,\alpha\right)\) and \(\left(2,\alpha+1\right)\): the finite-field-to-oriented-ideal-to-lattice-to-trace compiler is literal once a primitive root is declared. The inverse ideals have the same scalar theta series, so this record provably forgets orientation. A September 2026 preprint supplies a self-orbifold 23AB channel with 529 sectors, the \(U(23)\) discriminant form, an embedded \(P(23)\) parafermion algebra and a duality defect exchanging twist and charge. Its quarter-turn and fifth-power orientation exchange generate \(\mathrm{Dic}_{11}\), an exact order-44 instruction set on sector labels. Projectivizing removes its central sign and leaves \(D_{11}\) acting with a two-axis orbit and a 22-direction mixed orbit. The finite action embeds in \(Sp(4,23)\cong Spin(5,23)\), but finite reduction retains no real signature, cone or time orientation. Ordinary genus-one charge projection still collapses the twenty-two nonzero charges. A separate conditional construction predicts twelve defect lines governed by \(\Gamma_1(25)\); \(X_1(25)\) also has genus twelve, uniquely in the odd Monster-prime survey. The identity plus eleven inverse-paired generator orientations gives a third, differently typed twelve. No bijection among these counts has been derived. The full scalar commuting-insertion search is now also closed: \(C_{\mathbb M}(g)\cong C_{23}\times S_4\), its five insertion classes reduce to cyclic products of orders 23, 46, 46, 69 and 92, and every corresponding A/B McKay--Thompson pair is equal. The projective escape closes too: the order-24 Monster anomaly transgresses trivially along the order-23 twist, so the action is linearisable and those five class traces determine the full graded \(S_4\) module. The look-here calculation is therefore to identify the corpus cycle with an oriented generator, construct cross-grade VOA/defect composition, and sew it at genus two with the required metaplectic multiplier. A useful result would improve code, defect and modular engineering. A physical claim additionally requires the missing off-diagonal response, a dynamics and a detector record; the shared plane and chiral defect alone supply none of them.

What this commits us to

The construction is admitted only after the named additional input is supplied. The page records the dependency instead of hiding it inside the conclusion.

Logical anatomy

Scope

Chapter “The admissibility frontier”, section “the two rails share a plane, not a group”. This is assertion 3 of 4 in that section.

Evidence posture

Identify the named external input and verify that the construction follows after it is supplied.

Research move

checks assumptions, certificates, counterexamples and stopping rules.

Verification route

  1. Recover the declared objects and assumptions from the controlling documents.
  2. Check the calculation, construction, obstruction or stopping rule on those same objects.
  3. Compare the source conclusion with the exact assertion above; do not strengthen its verbs or enlarge its domain.
  4. Apply the status rule and retain every named external dependency.

What would move or defeat this claim

Show that the named input is inconsistent, insufficient, unavailable, or fails to imply the claimed construction.
