Admissibility frontier · Edition 3

Expanded claim page · assertion 2 of 3

the operator does not choose its boundary

Externally openTranslator

Needs an ingredient, calculation or observation not yet supplied by the declared model or evidence. moves a structure between mathematical, physical or ordinary languages.

Exact assertion

The reason is that an equation says which motions are available, while a domain says which states and motions are admitted. The lattice-fermion example adds the translation warning: exact microscopic Onsager structure can appear as a larger infrared symmetry in a different representation, but locality, compactness and gauging do not all survive unchanged. The Narain handlebody coefficient gives the positivity warning: it is zero for two pairs and negative from three onward, so an exact linear expansion need not be a positive physical ensemble.

What this commits us to

The corpus identifies the missing datum but does not currently contain it. This assertion is a boundary marker, not a disguised derivation.

Logical anatomy

Scope

Chapter “The admissibility frontier”, section “the operator does not choose its boundary”. This is assertion 2 of 3 in that section.

Evidence posture

The cited documents locate the boundary; they do not contain the missing physical ingredient.

Verification route

  1. Recover the declared objects and assumptions from the controlling documents.
  2. Check the calculation, construction, obstruction or stopping rule on those same objects.
  3. Compare the source conclusion with the exact assertion above; do not strengthen its verbs or enlarge its domain.
  4. Apply the status rule and retain every named external dependency.

What would move or defeat this claim

Supply the missing datum with a physical definition and demonstrate that it connects locally to the existing construction.
